Which countries continue to supply fuel, oil and its products to Israel during the war?

Some will really surprise you! An energy research company based in Washington publishes a document detailing Israel’s sources of fuel and oil during the war.

According to the document, it turns out that there is no connection between the critical tone towards Israel and the energy business. According to the information, Israel receives most of the JP-8 jet fuel from the U.S. as part of military aid. Since the beginning of the war, Israel has received three such tankers from the U.S.. Besides jet fuel, the IDF needs significant amounts of diesel and gasoline for tanks and other military vehicles and they are supplied by local refineries after importing crude oil from abroad.

The main oil suppliers to Israel since October 2023 are: Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan/Russia, Gabon and Brazil. Erdogan’s Turkey is also involved. Azeri oil is transported through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline when in the Turkish port city it is loaded onto tankers sailing to Israel. According to the document, Israel receives a relatively small but constant amount of crude oil shipments through the Sumed pipeline between Suez and the Mediterranean Sea in Egypt. The pipeline receives oil from Saudi Arabia, the Emirates and Iraq and from Egypt part of it is transferred to Israel.
