A Turkey-backed proxy is responsible for the abduction of four nurses from a hospital in Turkish-occupied northern Syria, Northern Press Agency (NPA) reported on Sunday. The Levant Front, a faction of the Syrian National Army (SNA) supported by Turkey, arrested the nurses at a hospital in Tel Abyad, a local source told NPA. According to the source, the fate of the nurses remains unknown. Tel Abyad was captured by the SNA and Turkish forces during Operation Peace Spring in October 2019.
